Post v6 to a 385 hp?

how much ABOUT would it take to get a v6 out, and a new 385 HP v8 in the car...

not anytime soon, but.. sine they stopping the camaro, i figure onece i get 125 - 150k miles on the car, instaed of getting a new car, get a new engine!

i have a '98 v6 3.8 black camaro

i just thought they had a 385 HP engine,.. i dunno, high 300's low 400 HP engine... (to take that new '03 cobra 8'] )
well... i am only 17 yrs old now.. im talkina about 6...7... yrs down the road when its closer to 2010 and need a new car (this car getting old), and putting a new engine in it...thats ofcourse if tehy DONT make the camaro again, if they make it again ill just buy the new SS....

Your probably talking about the LS6, this would be cost prohibitive, especially right now and probably even a couple years from now. Those enignes are expensive.
And you getting this from a guy who put a LT1 in his 3.4L firebird despite everyone saying that would be cost prohibitive

Not sure if this belongs here though so I won't go into details
