Ok to use a used Cam? Found one with 15k on it.
Or better to go new?

If it's a roller cam it will probably be fine. These things almost never wear out.

I know I sure dont know what a TR224 is, is it a roller cam or is it a flat tappet is what Rich means. If its a roller there will be little to no wear unless something bizarre happened. If its a flat tappet cam its probably not worth it because they are so cheap to begin with.

In general, I have no problem with used parts, considering that even if I originally bought them new, all of the parts in my car are used now (or will be as soon as the driving season starts). But I have to trust who I am buying from in order to feel confident that what I'm getting is worth the price.

And again, a roller cam is about as indestructible as any of the parts in the car. Unless something really unusual happened a roller cam should outlast just about every moving part of the car.

I was thinking the same thing. Just don't want to miss out on a good deal.

He is selling it for $225.
