typical gains from lt headers

well, i am in the process of waiting for my LongTube headers from quicktime performance. but i am curious to know what kinda gains i can expect from them on the ls1

i had a lt1 and i prolly gained a good 30+rwhp going to lt's
i am not certain, but there was an incredible seat of the pants difference going to them, but then again i had a nice cam package and also my heads slightly ported, so i prolly ended up gaining more than that.

i wanna know if i should expect the same outcome.
right not my car is stock exect for the lid, but i am planning on doing a loudmouth as well.

i ran at the track today and ran consistant 13.5's at 106mph, with 2.3 60ft times. when i say consistant, i ran a total of 6 (six) 13.5xx at high105-low106mph as well as 9 out 10 runs with 2.3 60ft's. traction was horrible but then again, i had balding F1's and i was running them at 34psi. i didnt want to touch a thing and see what my car runs completely the same as on the street.

with some decent traction and 2.0 or better 60ft's my car is capable of 13.0-13.1's.

thanks
dave

Well peak horsepower should gain between 15-20 but really long tubes give you the most bottom end torque. I dropped 3/10s just by adding longtubes and offroad pipe.

At East Side performance a stock 02 Z came out with full exhaust i.e. dynatech headers and a catback with 357* rwhp. Take it for what its worth but tuning a/f ratio also will help you out alot.

An '02 with 257? Even with the worst tuning ever, it wouldn't be any lower than 290, that's as an auto. 257 sound more like a stock LT1.
