TSP Rumbler

I currently have the flow-master american thunder cat back system and am looking to modify my exhaust, headers, y-pipe, etc. I came across the TSP rumbler and X pipe true dual package. Can any one tell me if I will gain more power through this rather than an Y-pipe and something like SLP loud mouth?

Thanks

Also can any one tell me how the rumbler will sound compared to my flowmasters? I cant go to LS1sounds.com, I have dial-up internet because I live on a farm haha

Re: TSP Rumbler

i've heard that main reason for people switching to an x-pipe configuration is due to the sound difference. there are supposedly, very minimal gains from adding an x pipe. and another thing is most people usually say that the y pipe does practically nothing other than slightly change your exhaust note.

i've heard both the flowmaster, american thunder and slp lm...if it were me? i would totally switch to loudmouth, but keep in mind they named it "loudmouth" for a reason.

There are some decent gains from switching. Mrr23 had some nice gains w/ duals over the Borla.

So it is more than just sound.

keep in mind - his borla had the most restrictive plate in

true duals will definitely get you power under the curve and usually a couple of ponies too

Re: TSP Rumbler

Most restrictive plate or totally blocked off the Borla is still a very free flowing cat back, just not a cutout. A Borla w/any opening in a plate is in effect a cut out. No other catback has a plate to run open do they?

Re: TSP Rumbler

True Duals shine with power over the curve and not having a yawing cat noise throughout the RPM range, that the Y pipe setup has
