True Duals compared to other Vehicles?

ughh...
the "true" part of true duals comes from that fact that our cars appear to be dual exhaust...because of the dual tips.
but guys who run duals on these cars often have them look similar to the dual tips. therefore they say they are "true duals"
what the hell does the connection have to do with them not being "true" duals?
