As if I were going to launch in a 1/4 mile Im having a problem when I let off the cluth at about 2300 rpms I can here something clunking. is that associated with the torque arm or a transmission mount.

 

Most likely the tranny mount. But it should clunk just by hitting the gas. No need to drop the clutch at 2500.

 

see I hit the gas comming onto the freeway one time and I accidently went from 3 to second gear (miss shift) the tires started to bounce I disenged the clutch and put it in the proper gear. I wonder if that tore the transmount.

 

definaly not the torque arm. that would bang every time you speed up or slow down
