I know some dudes that lost control of the rear end with the traction control off

I keep mine ON 90% of the time

It gives some added confidence with normal driving in rain and usual NJ crappy weather conditions....but forget about New Jersey and winter driving, I dont go anywhare, most of our storms are too severe for any f body.

My father's police car crown vic has it, he likes it, but he turns it off in the deep snow, if he didnt, the car wouldnt allow him to spin the wheels at a different speed then the front.

I have it and I like it for the most part. I turn off when I want to have fun. However, I have not heard of anyone installing it. Sounds like a lot of trouble...

ASR is alright, but I wouldn't care if I didn't have it. I just leave it on when I drive.

When the ASR is turned off, and when you're accelerating hard, the car feels MUCH more free and accelerates somewhat faster.

I really don't like how it'll push the pedal back at your foot and kill engine power if your tires spin.

And yes, the tires can chirp significantly with the ASR on, I've done it before.
