Installed my GMMG today (notes)
Wow, installed my GMMG today with the stock manifolds and y-pipe ... it sounds absolutely awesome... no rasp whatsoever .... a loud deep throaty sound.... and in a A4 gets really mean at just 1600 rpm's ... and stays relatively quiet at idle ...
tips look absolutely great and defintely worth $150... ill get some pictures up soon ...
only set-back I had was that I-pipe the end got a little mis-shapened so it wouldnt fit in... but surely got it to fit in. Thanks to a exhaust pipe extender and a hammer. Since I had no access to a lift it took lots of patience on the ground. But is possible. If you have no regard for your current exhaust system cut it before and after the axle ... this will help you to take it off, as you will hit the ground with the tailpipes preventing it from clearing the axle. Also, another helpful tip in installing is lowering the brace right above the panhard bar (a PITA to remove the three bolts)... then you should easily fit it over the axle. Other wise it should go by fast with a help of a friend, but even should be managable even by yourself.

Sounds awesome. Yeah, get the pics up as soon as you can. I am going to order mine in time for it to get to where my Z28 is being taken care of. I can't wait for this summer when I go on vacation. Post some sound clips too if possible since I too have a completely stock exhaust. Would it be any extra work to put the stock tips back on? I like the sleeper/stock look.
Those tips look pretty cool. I am debating between those or the stock ones. I would like to see one with the tips on a Camaro with a body kit. I still have some time until I order mine or whenever the next GP is. How long did it take for the setup to get to your house from the time you ordered it?

It took one full week.... we sent a money order (so it wouldnt have to wait for it to clear the bank) on a monday....and got it the next monday....
im glad i kept the stock manifold and y-pipe for now ... its loud

I havent shot the video or edited yet, but shouldnt be to big ...
just depends what you all want in the video ... (idle, different rpm revs, drive by's)
as for the exhaust loudness, anything about 1600rpms its really vocal about it
, when it shifts into OD at 30mph or so ... its really really deep ...and starts vibrating all my change in the center console... which reminds...me.. to go take that out
