Post Track problems

Went to the track last night and two things bothered me, one was my time, my car is completely stock tires, exaust, air filter, every thing, I ran a best time of 13.70, but I was reading that the stock Z's run like 13.4's.

And the other thing is during my second run (of about 6 runs) I went to shift out of first and the clutch was suck to the floor I pressed it again and it still just stayed there so I lifted it up with foot and it poped back out. and shifted the rest of the way down the track, I got out and looked to see if it got stuck on the carpet or something but didnt see anywhere it could have stuck. It shifted perfectly fine for the rest of the night and then today, so should I be worried about it sticking like that??

Mid 13s in a stock 99 Z sounds right. You'll get better as your shifting improves. You should also consider the weather. The problem with your clutch sounds familiar. I see what I can find out.

13.7 bone stock? That's not bad at all, especially if you're still a newbie at the track.

For better responses, however, could you list your RT, 60' time, and trap?

Everything looks about right except for that MPH - It is about 4-6mph low...

I agree MPH seems a tad low, wht RPM are you shifting at? shoudl be around 6000

the 60 foot is pretty decent for a beginner. Get it down a tenth or two and you'll be 13.5 or so

Of course that also depends on his elevation. If he's 3000 feet up there it would be about right.
