Times with Stock & Pace vv MAF

Well I'm trying to tune my car, talked to James at RWTD about the using the stock MAF, gave it a try and....

Stock MAF
2.424 9.049 85.86 13.632 107.63 19:28
2.044 8.218 87 54 12.734 108.91 19:34
1.894 8.046 88.08 12.557 109.26 19:39

Pace ZO6 vv MAF
2.039 8.453 87.36 12.947 110.01 19:54
2.145 8.589 87.23 13.106 109.26 20:32

The runs with the ZO6 MAF I spun really bad and the mph increased.

It's hard to see the difference with the crappy 60fts, but driving the car it felt stronger with the ZO6 MAF.

The ZO6 MAF stayed in for the rest of the night and I made some nitrous runs with a 100 shot:
1.895 7.685 95.29 11.764 121.32
1.875 7.470 96.93 11.511 122.36
1.862 7.725 94.90 11.876 118.49 (tires broke loose after the 60ft)

but wouldnt unplugging and replugging the maf cause the car to act differently as it is then learning something new.. especially at that track. I would be curious to see what it does if you drive with the Z06 maf, go to the track, make some pulls then go to stock while at the track..
hmmmmmmmmmmm...

I'll try, but it was a b!tch to get the stock MAF to fit inside my Direct Flo Lid

The ZO6 MAf just fits up against it

My car runs rich with the pace vv. I get my predator on monday so I'm gonna play around with the tuning. Car feels much quicker with the vv over stock. I threw a ses light after some wot runs with the vv but that was probable because of the extreme heat. I had no kr though with the vv when someone autotapped the car. I've heard of some gaining 2 mph and shaving .1-.2 tenths with the vv. I agree you need to drive the car 200 miles to allow the pcm to adjust fully before saying the vv helped or not. Even then weather and traction could throw that off.
