throttle body bypass
I did the bypass mod. Not too much effort, 3/8 line 22-24 inches long and a barb fitting with 2 screw clamps. Can't feel any change in the car but the throttle body is a bit cooler. Like Psychocabbage said "not worth the hassle"

The mod was not ment be a SOTB gain... it is done to cut the hot coolent out of the TB, which heats it up, therefore heating up the incoming air. Which, everyone knows that hot air means less horsepower. The gain is much like smooth bellows... where "every little bit helps" comes into play. it takes like 10-15 minutes.
Would'nt really call it much of a "hassle." Granted you won't feel a difference but it should potentially free up a few hp, 2 maybe 3hp? takes about 20 minutes tops.
I used 5/16 hose about 2 1/4 feet and two worm clamps for each end (3/8 hose would probably fit better though).
I know that ws6.com dynoed before and after TB bypass on an LT1 and saw about 7rwhp, difference. I doubt we'd see that much of a gain on the average but I'm sure it would'nt hurt.
