sweet thunder

I was thinking of 2.5 true duals under the axle to the back, off of mac headers and no cats with two 18" sweet thunders.

What do you guys think?

Will cats (car sounds) or no cats make a big difference in sound?

Honestly I'm looking for quality sound like the mustangs, tell the truth guys the 4.6 ohc engines sound the best. I'm not lookiing to sound like a mustang or else I'd a bought one , but looking for quality v8 sound.

Mustangs have a hollow metal cling exhaust sound. To me it sounds the best and guys I don't want a mustang so if you can help me out with my decision that would be cool.

Re: sweet thunder

The hollow metallic sound comes from running Flowmasters. The Sweetthunder sticks neck down .25" inside the muffler so you'll be getting a bottle neck. There are other chambered sticks that don't do this. I can't remember the brands though. I want to say Stainless Works, but I'm not sure. They can be found at summit racing. You could also check out some sprial or bullet mufflers too.
