stock LS1 cyl. head airflow #'s

Anybody have flow #'s from stock LS1 heads?? I know it's odd but I'd like to know before we spend some $$ on heads..

Anything you guys can give me would be great...

Good place to start.

Remember airflow is not the only thing to look at on a cylinder head.

do you know what casting # those heads were??? Just curiosity. I'm really curious as to the airflow on these things for some reason...probably because I'm bored.

You're going to get the best numbers on stock and relatively stock LS1 heads on "LS1 Engine Tech". Moving it there.

Well depends on the motor they came off of.

A 5.7L LS1 head has a few casting numbers and they all flow about the same.
A 5.3L truck head is the same way, also with the 6.0L head, the LS6 is one casting number.

As you can see different benches get different readings. Chevy High Performance also has LS1 head flow numbers in their cylinder head database.

yeah, I got 851 LS1 heads...stock 2K T/A LS1 A4...motor is out of an M6 Car...going to do a cam only, with every other bolt on I can find....Should be fun come summer time.

I would hope that they are 853s. My 2000 came with the newer 241s
