stock knob wont fit on lous short stick

stock **** wont fit on lous short stick

hey guys ijust installed lous short stick on my factory hurst. it says teh stock **** will fit but it wont it screws in but locks in place *** backwords any ideas why this is happening. any in put would be great thanks.

I think the stock **** refers to the round ball
which has no front or back being a sphere and all.

I was going to get the SLP **** which looks like
the hurst but I also thought that the longer stem
wouldn't fit well since the boot is already severely
compressed with the LSS.

Do you mean it tightens up 180 off??
You can put teflon tape on the threads to get it to tighten earlier.
Or use a strap wrench to turn it another 180.

yeah it tightens up 180 degrees off i think im ognan try using that tape tomorrow. thanks for ur comments

Yep, just tighten down more. Mine was about 90 degrees off for the hurst ****. I cracnked on it a little more and got it where it should be.

Use a locking nut and it doesnt matter where you stop threading it.
