Steering

WHEN I BRAKE REALLY HARD MY STEERING WHEEL SHAKES BIG TIME. ANY IDEAS? I ONLY HAVE 11K ON THE 02 CAMARO. I ROTATE THE TIRES EVERY 3K

Hmm...sounds like another case of the classic warped rotor syndrome common in LS1's. It might be time to head to Autozone and get a new set of rotors.

Yup...mine went at 16K I think. Sux, don't it? You could get them resurfaced, but they'll most likely have the same problem this time next year. I suggested Autozone because they carry a pair of rotors for our cars that go for about $80~85. According to a few people on here, they get the job done for less than half the cost.

I had a problem like this. my camaro 2000 SS only 9,400 mileage so replaced front new pads and reline rotor

Stock brake pads cause problem.
