Everybody has a different opinion but the two that you'll probably hear (read) the most about are Yank and Vigilante (Precision).

Do a search if you want to get some opinions quickly or just look about five threads lower and there's some info.

Thumbs up

Also do research over at LS1.com and LS1Tech.com's Drivetrain sections. If you want to understand how converters work and how to select one, go to Yank's site ... www.converter.cc.

As for a recommended converter ... depends what you want out of your car? Street racer, street/strip, strip only? Many converter to choose from, and many company to choose from as well.
