Spark Plugs and Wires

Hey I need new Spark Plugs and wires, Im at around 70k miles and I dont think they have ever been replace, I bought the car used, cuz I never would have let the car go that long without new ones. Anyways I was wondering what the best wire and plug combo would be for performance and price. Also I have a 98 Z28 M6, and Im a little confused as to what the gap should be because I have seen two different listings both on Thunder Racing, and Install University.

for a basic bolt on car, you wont see any difference from standard wires to the really expensive ones.

a good combo with a good price is the taylor spiro-pros and NGK tr55

thunder racing sells the plugs for $2 each, and they will come gapped to .050"...stock gap is .060"
you should be fine if you run the way they come stock though.

the wires are about $45-50 if i remember correctly

I would go with MSD wires for $57.99 and the TR55 plugs. They come pre-gapped so you don't have to do that. We both in stock and can get them out to you tomorrow. Let us know if there is anything we can do for you!

Thanks!

"the way they come stock" = gapped at .050"

factory for the LS1 is .060"

but the .050" is fine....
