Question Someone got a clue?

Ok so Ive been having problems with my Z that Ive been trying to work out but everything seems to only help for a little while. First I was told a needed a new pump so I did it. Then I had a couple of shot coil packs so I did it. A couple other things here and there, so I did it. Finally im just fed up so I bring it to a performance shop and run it on the dyno with a fuel pressure gauge and apparantely my car is going completely lean the harder I hit the pedal.

The gauge we put on says its running a constant 24 psi which is less than half of what we should be running. We tried blocking off the regulator to see if that would cause a spike in pressure and be the problem, but that didnt cause a difference.

The shop owner thinks maybe there is a kink in a line somewhere, but im not too sure. Anyone have a clue I could use some help.

Thanks,

Vinny

Have you changed the obvious fuel filter?

Bad replacement pump or it's leaking where the pump hooks on?

Maybe the fuel pump relay?? I've also heard that if the oil pressure sensor can cut fuel pressure if the PCM doesn't detect oil pressure.

I was thinking about getting the fuel pump controller by aeromotive, will that replace the relay if thats the problem?

I also am going to get an adjustable regulator but the only one I found was the Kinsler on Thunder Racing for $400. I think thats a bit high. What is another good brand and where can I get it?
