I finally got my loudmouth installed, i like the sound, but i hear some clanking and some rattling..........is this normal? anybody with a LM have the same problem

 

Could be heat shield.

Yeah check the heat shields back where it goes over the rear end. Mine was hitting there. Had to loosen the clamp and rotate it just a little.

what kind of lm exhaust is it? is it the quad center mount or the regular lm with two 3" tips?

 

if u look where the connection is made after the pipe bends over the axel you'll see that the pipes have come apart slightly. I have this same problem with my car because I have the same exhaust and it rattles loose on me sometimes. You could try to use a regular 2.5" u clamp with the two bolts and the one that came with slp and then jam nut the nuts. This might help out your problem, it's working pretty good for mine so far.

 

It's the regular LM with dual slash tips on each side.
