If not, where did you guys plug this into? Looks pretty simple though. I don't want to spend crazy $ just to get my fans to come on early so the ls1edit is not an option at this time. The diablo sport would have been nice, but not made for 98s. So this fan is a good idea, but if something else exist let me know.

i personally think it's worth it...nice simple install, very clean connections and instructions to do everything.

and it's a nice way to cool the car in traffic or at the lanes.

After searching threads I found out they throw codes when the car is on.

mine never threw any codes.now its useless because when i had my car tuned the fans turn on at 160 and stay on themselves.o well, still a good quality part imo.

i have never heard of it throwing codes. mine does not.

and i feel it is overpriced, but i do not have to hack up my cars wiring. some people might not care about it, but my last cars wiring was hacked to death by a previous owners car alarm. so to me, its worth it.

my sentiments exactly...and it's much easier to remove if you sell the car or [cough] wreck it like me

i've had my SLP unit on 2 separate cars...a 96z and my 99z...for over 2.5 years...and never seen a single SES light. used it alot in traffic too.

only problem i've ever had is leaving it on one morning really hung over and it killed the battery iin a few hours...but that was my fault.
