SLP 1.85 Rocker Package?

Does anyone have actual 'hard' track or dyno numbers after doing this mod?

I'am interested in actual results and not just opinions.

Thanks for knowledgable replys.

Thanks for the reply, I read the same article. However, that comparison was on a C5 Vette with less restrictive exhaust than a F-Body.

I'am looking for a before and after on a basically stock F-Body

Thanks for informed replys.

Cool

If you had an upgraded exhaust on the F-body, I don't think there would be a significant difference in RWHP. I too am "intrigued" by the 1.85 RR's............I think that would be a much easier way of increasing the lift of the cam (sorry, valve lift) than actually swapping the cam. I don't know about cost comparison, but the set of rockers would probably be a little less than a cam too?? For the '98-'00 LS1's (in F-bodies) the lift increases to .544". For '01/'02 LS1's, it goes to .521" (different cam, but apparently the '01/'02's got the truck cam, which gives more low end torque? ).

IMO, the 1.85's are a worthwhile consideration. I'd like to hear a little more insight too.

Take into consideration that the 1.85 RR's can only be used with the stock cam. So once you have those in... dont bother with an aftermarket cam. Is it really worth it for 20hp and $450-600?

Good observation Pete. .......

Rockers are much easier to change than a cam in F-Body cars. I don't want to open the motor because of warrenty issues.

Looks like the 1.85 rockers will add about 7% more lift with a stock LS1 cam and perhaps a bit more duration.

As I've mentioned, I'am looking for 'real world' results with this mod.

Thanks for knowledgable replys.
