Single turbo setup?

How much would a single turbo setup cost? I have read a million times on this board how you cant run over 6#s of boost. What can the engine handle, and what safe gains would a guy see?

www.LS1Motorsports.com has begun selling their LS1 Single Turbo kits just recently I believe. For $6000 you get the whole kit including turbo, intercooler, piping, brackets, fuel system, etc. The kit put out over 500rwhp and 600rwtq. See the site to get the exact numbers.

OMG, that would be such a sweet setup! Would it come with a custom exhaust or does it end at the y-pipe? I would get a second job just to pay for that!!

Turbo kits are 6K and up, SC's are 5-6K as well.

You can go heads and cam for 3K and add some Nitrous for a solid 450 N/A and 600 on the bottle. Take the other 2K and get some tires and suspension to hold the power, not to mention a rear end.
