Lightbulb response to ls1 owners

Hey here is the thing it has some to do with the cam shaft and ALOT to do with the configuration of the LS1 verse the LT1. The LT1 is standard sbc confi and teh LS1 is totally different, it has a 3.88 bore, I am not sure of the stroke, and it has a 6.01 lenght rod in it, so here is the resone for the power band diff is in the smaller bore shorter stroke alowing it to rev higher easier and long rodded for the big bang when it comes around to 2800-3200. That is why an auto just needs a 3500 stall, and the stick needs more gear 3.73, 4.10 is to much for the other end of the track ,but on the street very fun, 3.73 is just about perfect but a 3.80 in a 9inch would be perfect but how mant people have $2300 for the 9inch so just deal with the3.73. I have ran both in my 98' 6sp Z and ran out of motor at the end of the track with the 4.10. But you need something to help carry the car off the line with traction.
