Shorties, Mid lenghts, or Long Tubes
Yea sure. They actually list it in an order of importance, in which they say to do this stuff. There is also a 15 worst mods, so if anyone wants that lemme know.
10 best:
1) Subframe connectors with the largest tube section avaliable.
2) Cat back exhaust (3 or 3.5" so the LS1 has good back pressure for torque)
3) Air lid, MAF.
4) Drag radials for traction at the track
5) stronger and more precise 6 (or 5 speed) shifter
6) rear gears. They say if you have an auto trans use 3.73s. In a manual w/ a 6 speed they say use 4.10s so it won't totally kill the gas mileage and driveability.
7) long tube headers
8) torque converter around 3300 stall. If it is above 3400, the computer will think the trans is slipping so the pcm must be reprogrammed.
9) power adder - turbo, nitrous, supercharger (with intercoolers for tc & sc)
10) 12 bolt rear end - especially if car has 450 HP or over.
