Question Shopping for a Z28

I sure this gets posted often but maybe someone can steer me in the right direction.
I'm thinking of buying a 1998 or newer Z28.
Is there a FAQ on what to look for (common probs. etc.)?

Thanks,
Scott

Thumbs up

Not really any issues that I know of.I bought my '98 used with 36k on it and it has 46k on it right now. These motors are very strong and only get stronger as they get older.98's had larger injectors and a posible oil problem in hard turns(mine doesn't).I've heard that some later models had a piston slap problem but I'm not sure what years. In 2000 they got rid of the EGR and used a different cam and intake.Other than that they are all VERY good motors with hardly any mechanical problems.Good luck.
