BMW owners manual suggests 15k oil changes, and most BMW owners I know abide by that, 5 I know off the top of my head anyways...
However in our cars, I would not go past 8k without changing... We see higher RPM's quite often.

)I'm impressed, how often did you do oil changes? I'm experimenting on my 85 camaro using a large Industrial Hydraulic oil filter (cartridge) trying to extend the filter change to two years
. Have built in an indicator with a light in the car and the filter trips it at 22 psid. Fun Stuff.

OK, heh I was gonna give you the benifit of the doubt but I thought that was high. The 30k I have seen is in fleet diesels using oil analysis every 5k after 15k to monitor the oil.
