S.e.s.???

my SES light just turned on in my car last night. Now i just put in a 160 stat a free fan switch (it grounds the relay with a switch) and my oil change light went on cause when i changed the oil about 1000 miles ago i didnt put the last half quart in. could any of the things set the code for the light.

you need to go to the dealership and have them pull the code to find out what is wrong....it doesn't much matter if what you did set the code or not. Could be, but may not be....see what I mean?

I'd go to Autozone and let them scan your car. It's free there and the usually have good advice as to how to fix the problem.

Have you put gas in your car recently? If so it was probably the gas-cap code. If you tighten your gas cap too much it sets a code, if you dont tighten it enough it sets a code. 3 clicks then you stop. It took me a while to figure out that was what was giving me codes on my camaro.
