Rocker arm kit installation Question?

I am installing the comp cams 1.75 rocker arm kit on my 99 z28. I have a question about the 5/16 guide plates. Are the guide plates mounted underneath the factory rocker arm shaft? That looks like the only place they can go. I just want to be sure!

Thanks.

Re: Rocker arm kit installation Question?

they go under the rocker studs. remove rocker, remove pushrod, remove stud, insert guide plate, insert stud, insert pushrod, install rocker.
