Results after cam install tr230/224

Ok alittle background story first. When i had long tube headers, magnaflow catback, lid, free ram air,i dynoed 332hp and 354tq.Temperature was 103 and it was on a mustang dyno.SInce then i've installed the TR 230/224 .575/.563 111 LSA patriot performance dual valve springs, and hardened pushrods. After a few cooldown cycles i got it dyno tuned on a dynojet and it made 375 hp and 364 tq with the temperature beeing 90 degrees.I don't have the dyno graph here but the curve loked good, just not what i expected. It makes peak power at around 5900 and keeps it until around 5500.I was expecting alittle more power.Next i was thinking about some 5.3 stage II heads.WOuld that be a good idea?I plan on staying N/A.

Man.. maybe it's the Mustang Dyno, but that cam should not be maxing out at 5900. 6500 is more like it...

But I have the cam and love it..

I dynoed higher than you on a dynojet with a smaller cam and no tune. My numbers are below. Something might be wrong....

I dynoed 371RWHP and 360 RWTQ, peaking at about 6200 and pretty much staying there. I was running, Dynomouth, FRA, lid and K&N and the TR230 cam and a basic idle tune, no WOT tuning done. AF was at 13.7:1 .I now have Flowtech LT's and can feel the difference, but haven't dynoed it yet.

I have a Rapid Motorsports Phase II cam. 224/228/114 0.578 lift. My dyno # were 383/rwhp and 380/rwtq. Torq reached 380 at 3200 and stayed there to 6500.

What gear was he supposed to be in?From what i remember he did it in third gear.Could it be something got installed wrong? The car drives great, and you can definitely feel the difference, but 375 still seems low.

Your A/F seems fine, so something else really has to be it. You seem down by a good 10-15 RWHP in my mind. What did the curve look? Did the power curve raise slow down at 5900? Did you change the plugs+wires, fuel, oil and air filter, too?

I don't have the dyno sheet here, can't remember the curve but i saw nothing wrong with it when i was there. The power drops of at slightly after 6500 rpm.Plugs, wires, oil and oil filter have not been changed yet.I'm waiting for this weekend to change the oil and oil filter.@ of my plug wires were no good so i replaced them with corvette wires, they were free.
