replacing rear seal on 02 Z28. replacing clutch too. suggestions
I am having mechanic replace leaking rear seal. Also replacing clutc kit. Should I also replace master amd slave cylinder. 150000 miles. Ist time on site, sorry if in wrong place

you really should replace the slave cylinder. its inside the bell housing, so it really takes a beating. the master tends to go out unless you regularly change your clutch fluid, so its up to you on that one.

My rear seal needs replacement too. I have an automatic so no clutch work needed. Can you share what the cost to pull the tranny and replace the seal or is you estimate bundled? Thanks in advance for your response.
