I've removed all 3 of mine. I replaced them all with new ones. The hairdryer technique works well. I didn't need dental floss or fishing line either. Simply use something to pull the badge away from the body while you apply very direct heat. I used a dull butter knife right behind the plastic (not between the adhesive and the body), just enough to get it started. As it started to give way I simply got a better grip with my fingers and SLOWLY pulled. You may toast your fingers a bit at first but do NOT get ahead of the adhesive. If you go very slow (keep using heat) all the adhesive will come off in one piece leaving little or no remnants. This process will effectively ruin the badge but I purchased 3 new ones anyway.

Which is why I asked you are you trying to make your car look like a 6, and unexpectedly run 12s when people race you. I never said there was anything wrong with it. You just created an unneccessary flame by not thinking about what you were saying.

No, we aren't trying to make it look like a v6. We are trying to make it look like my z28. They look 10 times better without those gay decals.

A 1200 Watt Hairdryer? Nope, as I said, I did three of them. Does not hurt the paint. In fact, ever park your your black car in the hot August sun for several hours? Now that's hot. You could probably peel those badges off real easy then.
