Question Removing welded subframe connectors

I assume if you weld in subframe connectors and later want to drop out the engine subframe to do some major engine work you'd have to have the connectors cut off, they'd be ruined, and you'd have to order a new set. This would also add cost to you engine job. Should I go with the bolt-on variety instead? Am I missing something? Please advise.

SFC's are not in the way of anything you would remove, like engine cradel and such. See some nice pics of Spohn's weld-on's here

I need some soon, Later>>>>>>>

Thanks. I called SLP, and they said the same thing, although they did say you needed to remove the drive shaft support before welding in the bars, and then reattach the support. Otherwise, it will be difficult to remove the support (or the exhaust or drive shaft)later, they said. I am not sure what he's talking about, but I am sure it will be obvious when I dry fit the bars prior to welding.

SLP's are trianglar and bolt to the cross piece that goes under the driveshaft. So you want the subframes under that piece so you can remove it and driveshaft when you want. The SLP ones hang down below you door jam. I have seen them on other cars and did not like how low they hang. I want something cleaner and tucked up better. Take a look around at various ones, BMR, Kenny Browns and others before you decide what to get. Later>>>>>>>
