Removing the Air Dam question

Ok so I replaced the stock lid with the FIPK. Do I really still need the air dam or no? The thing scrapes the ground EVERYWHERE. Not to mention it makes the car look like it has an overbite or something.

That air dam is there to cool your motor. It has nothing to do with your intake. If you take it off your car will run hot.

Thats a big no no. Removal of the lower spoiler will cause your car to overheat rapidly. This can cause major engine damage (of course).
