I just have excessive fuel consumption and sometime "rotten egg" smell from the exhaust but no SES light at alll. What are the chances that there is a code thrown but no SES light?

so has anyone taken there car to the dealership yet? my dad's 01 Z just through the P0420, bad left cat, code on the way home today, and we got the letter about 3 weeks ago, so i guess it's time to take it in.

 

My converters are going to be going the way of the Do-Do Bird pretty soon, so I've filed that letter under "g"arbage.
