Question Random Technology Dual Cat Highflow Y-pipe

I want to replace the cats on my 1999 Z28 but I was told that the only easy way to do it without changing the headers was to order a Random Technology Dual Cat Highflow Y-pipe but the only posts that I can find say they are far from reliable.
Can I replace the cats and keep my headers and Y pipe? The reason I don’t want to replace the rest is shipping to the UK is expensive and I am a not too god with a spanner.

Cut the flanges off the old cats .. weld 'em to the new cats .. any exahust shop can do it.
