link to which oe you are talking about? some are so-so at best, some have their issues. i couldnt find any with "raceparts" but typhoon claims they perform better than any other out there, but few bugs they are working out. i also question bbk or performance parts and weiland because they look more for show than improved performance, however i do not own any of the above mentioned. the general concensus is just go with a gm ls6 intake or if you have the supporting mods and money, fast brand 78 or 90/90 setup.

 

A link would definitely be helpful considering more then half of the aftermarket f-body intakes on ebay are junk.

 

one other thing, if you are set on buying a ls6 intake on e-bay, ask questions and print the Q+A's out. also see if the bottom of the intake is flat. i got burned over a year ago by a guy selling a spray painted ls1 intake as a ls6 intake, the way his dad (lawyer+ co scam artist) worded it, it took a long time for me to get my money back.
