I'm not too inclined on these situations however I believe for the price of the engine / trans / harness / ecu / misc stuff to properly perform the conversion ... You'd be spending the same just to go ahead and buy a new Z06...

GM High Tech Performance did the swap in a 99 Camaro a while back, http://www.gmhightechperformance.com...et_camaro_z28/ Here is an idea of what they needed to do the swap and the end result.

Prolly make it much easier to sell your LT1 and buy a LS1 since you would have to do everything that would normally be done for LS1 conversion.

I don't know about this one but If you want it and have the means to do it go for it. If it was me I'd just build one hell of a lt1 with a turbo setup.

Definitely need the LS1 K-member. I guess that's where you start and go from there. Seemed like the magazine guys did it easily.

You know the trans-axle won't work in the F-body, right? Unless you have AMAZING fabrication skills?! But an LSx into an LT1 F-body ... that's been done before ... you should have no/few problems doing that .

i dunno, I don't see ANYONE getting rid of an LS7 for 2k. Even LS1's go for more then that, so even if the junk yard or whatever was mistaken, it would still be more then 2k
