I was wondering what year LS1 got the LQ4 cam shaft? And how much more power did it make?

The cam supossedly helped the mid-range power but I doubt it helped much up top (probably hurt the top end a little). The LS6 intake is where most of the slightly additional power came from...at least IMO.

Ratings went from 305hp/335tq in the '98-'00s to 310hp/340tq in the '01-'02s.

 

Thanks man! Thats what I was thinking to. Although they rate them at 310hp I have seen some lay close to that down at the wheels bone stock.
