Bolts ons have a chance of coming loose over time. I prefer the weld ons myself. And I'm pretty sure the Kenny Brown's are weld ons.

i have bmr tubulars and they're welded.

if you do that, make sure the installer knows how to put them in and has had experience doing others correctly.

Why how can they be insatlled incorrectly? Also the instructions that came with mine I have lost. I have pictures of someone elses installed. Is there anything specific that I need to know. I also have the BMR tubular ones.

Thanks

The car has to be perfectly level. So you need somewhere that has a car lift. You also have move around while welding under there. If you concentrate in one space for too long, you could burn the inside carpet.

Yes. Bottom line: have the car level, and have its full weight on the wheels. Make sure you scrape off the paint where you're going to weld, and go at it. My dad did mine and they came out great. He's not a pro welder, but he's done it enough to know what the hell he's doing.
