Unhappy WFT,I have an oil leak.

Hello forum, I have an oil leak coming from what I think is through the oil pumps sensor connector. I disconnected the tube that extends from the oil pump and connects to the sensor on the oil pump, and there's oil inside that tube. When I have the vent on and at a stand still, I can smell the oil burning on the exhaust, but when I have the a/c on I don't smell it. I was thinking that maybe the rubber grommet that sits inside the tube is passing oil through it and dripping on the exhaust. Any suggestions would greatly be appriciated.

So oyu think its your oil pressure sensor?

jsut replace t its not too hard, jsuut have to do the oil at hte same time...

I woudl get on it, I procrastinated on mine and I was squirting about a quart of oil every 70 miles on my exhaust manifolds, my car looked like the eclipse in the fast and furious I, almost blew the welds on my intake with the 150 shot of NOS, no Vin diesle and hte mad scientist have to tear apart the block and replace the rings i fried

whould have double clutched and not granny shifted

Same thing happened to me. I thought that the oil was leaking, because I tightened the oil filter to tight. But sure enough after changing the oil, I saw it squirting out of the sensor right above it. Just go buy a new one at a local dealership, I think it is around 50 bucks or so, and plug it in, and you're good to go.

Like said earlier, just buy a new sensor...its not that bad price wise compared to a lot of stuff. Put it in and you should be set.

Just wanted to add: Holy mother of typos. MustangEater82, I've never seen so many types in that small of a paragraph.

You must not read very many of his posts then. I have to read them cross eyed or I can't understand most of them.
