I have a question, if you have dark door glass like my car (I bought mine with them that dark). Did GM build any 02 F-Bodys with dark door glass like that as an option ??

The reason why I am asking is because this past saturday, I was on my way from local 7-11 buying a 12 pack of pepsi's, and about 2 miles from my house a CHP Officer pulled me over and was harrassing me about my dark windows.. The officer also tried scratching the top of both my windows with his fingers and even with my drivers license and could not peel away any Tint from both outside and inside of door glass. Then he let me go w/ a warning and said that it could have came stock with Tint built into the glass and he could not give me a Fix It Ticket as well.. So did some z28's come with Dark Door Windows as an Option ??

Thanks for the information... my guess is that either the kid that owned the car before I did had someone do a great tint job or he just bought new side windows... The funny thing is that all glass well maybe except t-top glass(I will check it when I pull the sun shades off them today) seems to be the same brand all around...

 

I didnt even get a warning..just a fine to pay.
