Pushrods!!!
seeing as the ls1/6 motors use a torque to specs rocker, it is a problem. the rockers are not adjustable. so everything has to be in exact places and lengths. they changed the rocker geometry by .050"/ so at max lift you may have hit coil bind and bent them that way. also being .050" longer may have hung the valves open by that much also. if the ls1/6 stock rockers were adjustable, you most likely would not have had the problem.
on a side note just had www.vicnihighperformance.com install their 1.89 accelerated lift adjustable rockers, guideplates, pushrods, springs, locks and retainers they want me to drive it for 50-100 miles before strapping it to the dyno to see the results.
