Question Placement of Electronic Cutout Switch?

I'm getting ready to order dual electronic cutouts for my Hawk, where is the best place to put the switch? If anyone has some pics that would be great too.

Yes, it's the ashtray

I used some old plastic I had around and a Dremel, then made a bracket to hold it in place from underneath, then covered it with some metalized sheeting I had.

i put the switch for my electric fans where the cig lighter was...hole was already there and i was able to access power right there

kindda a crappy plate, but it works for now till i make on to house the fan switch w/ LEDs and my eCutout that is coming soon.

it's nice cause the hole is already there from the lighter, which i don't use (no smoking in car and there is a second power supply anyway by the Ebrake

I did mine on the side of the console to keep it out of site. I was kinda worried about putting it there thinking I might bump it with my knee a lot...but, I've yet to do that in the 13 months it's been installed. All I had to do was drill a small hole and remove some plastic on the inside of the console to make room for the switch. Turned out great if you ask me.

if you get the McCord powerplaye the switch and like looks real nice on the side of the center console and if you ever go to sell the car, a new center top piece is like 10 bux on ebay
