Piecing together a 9inch rear end for less than 1200, Have question
Yea, I want to save the $$$, The tough part is setting up the center section, VERY little margin for error, and you need a few special tools to get it done correctly, dial ind, inch lb torque wrench, ect. If you dont set it up right it'll whine like your little sister when you pull barbies head off!! Too much bearing preload and you melt down the bearings. I work on semi's so same stuff for me except way smaller parts. The only way to learn is to get your hands dirty.( part of learing is making mistakes tho') If you were in the area I'd set it up for ya', you buy the beer.
