Today is going to be a very long day at work knowing that I'm picking up my new car after I get out. A red '00 T/A M6,fully loaded with 24k miles. There giving me $12,500 for my 61k mile nonT-Top '97 WS6 T/A just by looking at my car through the window. The guy said '97 was the last year you could get T/A's without T-Tops. He said its very unusual to see a '97 without T-Tops so maybe thats why he was so quick to offer me so much. The dealer down the street only would give $9800.

When I get home with the car I'll be changing my sig .to make it offical.

Thanks guy's. I picked it up last night. yesterday at work was like a kid on christmas morning waiting to open up presents.

I would of loved to get A WS6 model ( the dealer had a black one ) but the monthly payments would of been a little more than I want to pay. I'll be putting the car away for the winter in a month but as soon as I take it out around March I will be getting the WS6 hood. The Firehawk hood is nice but I feel the WS6 hood is a little more aggresive looking.

I wont be doing to many mods with this car (I already have a 9 sec. drag car). I plan on adding a hurst shifter,Whisper lid,Kenny brown DD subs, and a Borla exhaust. Is it true that T/A's come with better Exhaust than other f bodies So i won't gain any power just add some sound? Right now, it's too quiet.

Do you think these mod's can get me into the 12's?

Nice car Obviously you can drive, so 12's aren't out of the question with those mods
