Peak Power!

My queries are the following:

how and when the rated hp of my car can achieve; is it during the peak speed?
is it during progressive speed? is it during climbing or ascending motion?.

is it during progressive acceleration or is it with relation with the engaging of the x-mission into the differential????

Appreciate any reply

Being stock the peak horsepower will be somewhere around 5500-6000. So anytime you are in that rpm range at wide open throttle you can make peak power in any gear. It's a little difficult to understand your question so if that isn't what you're asking about please clarify.

hmm,..

okay, is the torque and power peake occur simultaneously ...?

at what RPM ... or are they occur at different RPM..? what basis 550 foot-pounds per second in one hp?

what actually accelerates a car ... is it because of the torque generated by the engine or the torque applied by the tires to the ground?

I think now is clear

No ... torque low end RPM/HP high end RPM

It's the formula for HP ... no more basis for it than there is for 3 feet in a yard or 4 quarts in a gallon ... it just is.

Power to the ground ... no power at the wheels, no move the car ...
