Would a bad pcv or pcv leak cause oil to leak out of the front of the valley cover on a LS1, or is it just in need of a new valley cover gasket?

Are you sure that's where it's coming from?? Never heard of one leaking before. As far as a PCV system problem causing it to leak it's doubtful.
PCV system problems on LS1s generally cause high oil consumption and oil in the intake manifold.

The most common source of a leak on a LS motor is the front seal....check it out closely to better determine the source.

I have checked the front seal and its ok. There is a trail of oil leaking from the valley that just under the T.B. that leaks down to the front passenger corner of the oil pan and then trails all the way to the trans. I checked it with the car runnung and I see oil bubbling from the valley cover. I was wondering if there is too much pressure blowing it out from a bad pvc, or just a bad valley gasket.

I use 5w-30 mobil 1 syn. 50 degrees today , it doesn't get too cold. I am going to attempt to remove the intake myself and change the valley gasket.

Yeah if you can actually see the oil bubbling out from under the cover then it needs a new gasket.
