Since I bought my '00 Z28 four months ago Im having code P0410. Secondary Air Pump failure. I got a scan tool and I reset it the code many times but it always come back after 400+miles or so. It always happens when the car is warm.

For what I read on this forums this Air pump is supposed to supply more air to the Cats when the car is cold to run better emmisions. BUT I always get the code when the car is warm. I bought two new check valves, but today I got the code again. I really don't understand why this code takes more than 350 miles to appear. The fuse is OK and the relay too. What else could be the problem. It is the Air pump is not working all the time or could be a O2 sensor problem? PLEASE, I need your help.

sounds like you air pump is junk either that or your cats or going
