overheating & a/c issues

I looked around and couldn't find an existing topic on this...here's the issue...

I have a 2000 z28 with roughly 115k miles on it, since the temp drop into fall i've been cruisin with the windows down, went to turn the a/c on the other day and got nothing but hot air...

also, the temp on the car has normally been at 210 while cruising and recently it's been going above 210, nothing to high...yet....

any help with this would be appreciated...

Have the fluids ever been changed (coolant, A/C, etc.)?

When you turned on the A/C, did you have the temp **** in the blue or in the red? (Sounds silly, but some people have actually thought their A/C was busted and that's all it was. )
