First day with my exhaust slp loudmouth 2 ORY pipe.. Love it but one thing...when ever i make turn or when i step on it. theres a knock under the car . its loud too. (Couple knocks) I heard it can be the ORY because its not welded? theres 2 bolts and theres like a brace where it holds together. Does it have to be welded. Thanks so much guys

 

Check the driver side of the Y pipe and see if it's really close to the floorboard brace. If it is then you can use a clamp and some rubber hose to soften the impact.

 

Cheap fix: EGR/emissions hose and a hose clamp to hold it on the ORY where it contacts the body.

Proper fix: urethane motor mounts.

 

can i use some header wrap and just wrap it around? will that cause vibrations?
